If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.**About The Opportunity**Manage all aspects of the warehouse (on-site and off-site) including inventory control and distribution, to ensure proper inventory levels and timely shipments of customer orders.**Key Duties & Responsibilities**1. Oversee salaried shift supervisors on three shifts2. Lead the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving department.3. Assist in managing inventory control programs across all material types to ensure accurate inventory and drive inventory reductions.4. Oversee the shipping and receiving functions to optimize flow while facilitating a working warehouse and off-site warehouse, when applicable.5. Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.Other duties as assigned.**Performance Measures and Outcomes*** Safety metrics* Quality Shipping Complaints* On-time shipments**Education/Certification****Level Required:** High school diploma or equivalent**Level Desired:** Bachelor’s DegreeAPICS CPIM**Work Experience****Required:** 5-10 years of relevant work experience**Desired:** 2-5 years of experience in leadership**Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**1. Ability to handle the stress of working with others2. Ability to be available outside of normal work hours3. Ability to cover supervisory absenteeism/position vacancy on any shift as needed4. Ability to assess employee performance and coach and develop others5. Ability to lead by example6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles7. Ability to use and influence organizational policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing practices8. Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components9. Knowledge of the processes, tools, and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the warehouse10. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, vendors, peers and subordinates11.
