Operating from a 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Torrance, quality is at the core of everything we build.Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-driven Quality Control Inspector for our 2nd shift to verify that machined components and connector assemblies meet stringent customer and aerospace specifications. This role is essential to our Total Quality Management program and ensures defect-free product reaches our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process, first-article, and final inspection of machined parts and connector assembliesInspect components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMM equipmentInterpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specificationsDocument inspection results and maintain quality records per ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirementsSupport statistical process control (SPC) and digital measurement initiativesIdentify, tag, and segregate nonconforming material; initiate corrective action reportsCollaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues in real timeMaintain calibration records and ensure measurement equipment is currentQualifications3+ years of quality inspection experience in a precision machining or aerospace manufacturing environmentProficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparators, CMM)Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&TKnowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standardsExperience with SPC and inspection documentationHigh attention to detail and strong written documentation skillsAvailability to work 2nd shiftHigh school diploma or equivalent; quality certification (ASQ) a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
