Job Position: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Dallas, Tx 75211

Pay Rate: $45.00/hr

Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Job Summary: We are hiring a Texas-licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our first-shift production team. This position plays a critical role in the electrical assembly and installation of large industrial generators and custom enclosures. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in industrial manufacturing environments and a thorough understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and electrical system integration at a large equipment scale.

Responsibilities:

• Install, wire, and test electrical components for industrial generator units, enclosures, and related systems.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Route, bend, and install conduit (EMT, RMC, and flexible) according to code and engineering specifications.

• Terminate wiring for control panels, motors, switches, breakers, sensors, and high-voltage systems.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

• Ensure all work meets or exceeds Texas electrical codes and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, and other trades during the build process.

• Follow all safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.

• Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, installations, and test procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Journeyman Electrician in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Proven expertise in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints.

• Demonstrated experience with electrical installation and troubleshooting of large industrial equipment.

• Strong knowledge of NEC and TDLR regulations as applicable to manufacturing facilities.

• Proficient with standard hand tools, electrical test equipment (multimeters, meggers), and power tools.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in a standing position for extended periods, and work in physically demanding environments.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with generator systems, switchgear, control panels, and motor control systems.

• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation systems.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not a required.
