Whether working directly with customers, supporting store operations, or contributing behind the scenes, every team member plays an important role in the Tisun Beauty experience.The Opportunity:Tisun Beauty is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier / Customer Service Associate to create a positive first and last impression for our customers.In this role, you will provide accurate checkout service while assisting customers with questions, purchases, promotions, and returns. Accuracy matters just as much as speed. You will keep checkout moving efficiently while ensuring customers understand their purchases, payments, and applicable return options.The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, sales-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.IMPORTANT AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT:OPEN WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.Because weekends are an important part of our retail operations, applicants must be available to work weekends as part of their regular schedule. Applicants who are unable to work weekends will not meet the availability requirements for this position and should not apply.Weekend availability means being available for Saturday and Sunday shifts, including opening, mid-day, or closing shifts as scheduled.What You Will Do:Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly service.Accurately scan, total, and process customer purchases.Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other electronic payments according to company procedures.Explain current promotions, discounts, and return policies accurately.Process authorized returns, exchanges, refunds, and other transactions according to company policy.Obtain supervisor approval when a transaction or customer request requires an exception.Bag purchases carefully and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.Verify item prices and obtain assistance with missing barcodes, price discrepancies, or restricted transactions.Protect customer and transaction information and follow company procedures for handling sensitive information.Count assigned register funds and complete required reconciliation procedures as authorized.Maintain organized receipts and transaction records.Follow established procedures for voids, refunds, discounts, and other register adjustments.Assist customers with basic store information and connect them with the appropriate team member or department.Support other store operations as needed, including maintaining merchandise and assisting customers throughout the sales floor.Help create a positive shopping experience that encourages customers to return.What You Bring:Availability for opening and/or closing shifts based on business needs.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.Comfort learning and using POS/register technology.Professional communication and customer service skills.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to remain accurate and professional while working in a busy checkout environment.Ability to handle cash, payments, customer information, and transaction records responsibly.Good judgment when handling customer requests and situations requiring supervisor approval.Ability to work cooperatively with store management and team members.What We're Looking For:Customer-FocusedYou enjoy helping customers and creating a welcoming, positive shopping experience.Sales-OrientedYou can identify customer needs and recommend products or connect customers with the appropriate team member while providing genuine, helpful service.ProfessionalYou communicate respectfully and professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.Team-OrientedYou understand that maintaining a successful store requires everyone to work together and support one another.ReliableYou arrive on time, take responsibility for your work, follow through on your responsibilities, and can be counted on by your team.Beauty-MindedYou have an interest in beauty products and enjoy learning about new brands, products, and industry trends.Detail-OrientedYou understand the importance of accuracy when processing payments, handling returns, applying promotions, and maintaining transaction records.Schedule & Availability:Saturday and Sunday shifts — REQUIREDWeekday shiftsOpening shiftsClosing shiftsHoliday shiftsSeasonal or special-event shifts as neededCompensation & benefits:Starting pay: $14.00+ per hour, based on experienceEmployee discountOpportunities to learn about beauty products, brands, and industry trendsOpportunities for advancementSupportive team environmentEligibility for benefits and additional company programs is subject to applicable company policies.How to Apply:If you meet the qualifications above and have open weekend availability, we encourage you to apply.Please submit your resume and application for consideration.Please note: Weekend availability is required for this position.
