Director of Professional Services
Department of Health and Human Services
Job Duties
Strategic Leadership - Partners with executive leadership to develop and implement policies, plans, and performance measures across multiple departments while ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance.
Operational Management - Evaluates organizational structure, resource utilization, and effectiveness to optimize operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
Reporting & Quality Assurance - Conducts audits and operational assessments and delivers regular reports to executive leadership and the Governing Board to ensure the highest quality of services.
Compliance, Contracting & Leadership - Interprets IHS directives, oversees contracting and acquisition per federal requirements, represents the organization with external entities, and provides administrative direction to ensure compliance, organizational alignment, and employee development.
Supervisory Responsibility - Directly supervises employees across multiple disciplines including Pharmacy, Social Work, Laboratory, Radiology, Physical Therapy, Public Health Education, Nutrition, and Administrative Support.
