If you're passionate about helping children and families while growing your career, Blackbird is the place to make an impact.Join us and help change mental health care for children for the better!Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Occupational Therapist efficiently and accurately provides evidence-based evaluations and treatment sessions focused on supporting emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and participation in daily activities. Through collaboration with other specialty providers, this position develops and implements individualized treatment plans for new and existing Blackbird patients.As part of a fast-growing, innovative startup, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge, interdisciplinary care models and help shape the future of behavioral and developmental healthcare.Enjoy the flexibility of a remote environment, with the option to work onsite on a need basis (1x a week) in our Fort Washington, Exton, Langhorne, King of Prussia or Doylestown PA clinic locations.What makes you, you:Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.Proficient in navigating electronic medical record systems and related technology.Commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional development.Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.Flexibility and initiative to adapt in a dynamic, innovative work environment.Receptive to clinical feedback and committed to professional growth.How you'll make an impact:Complete a set number (minimum 6 per week) of 60-minute occupational therapy evaluations (direct clinical service), with 30-minute documentation time (non-direct clinical service).Identify candidates for short-term, focused OT treatment programs and conduct 30-minute treatment sessions as clinically indicated.Participate in weekly team meetings (approximately 30 minutes per week).Maintain a clinical schedule that includes a combination of morning and evening evaluation times (8–10 am and 3–7 pm) and weekday/weekend availability (preference for candidates with weekend availability).This position will primarily focus on weekday evaluations after 3 pm EST and/or weekend evaluations.The basics you'll need:Education: Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania state license in Occupational Therapy.Experience: At least two years of experience providing occupational therapy services in a pediatric or multidisciplinary setting; experience with telehealth preferred.Salary Range$45 - $55 USDJoin us!To raise the standard of pediatric mental health care through accurate understanding and precise treatment that reflect how each child's brain, body, and behavior work together.It's so rare to find comprehensive care like this---from testing to therapy to med management (and more)--all in one place.
