Bakery Clerk

If you enjoy baked goods in a gourmet store environment, you will love our Bakery Clerk position! We have an immediate need for a PT Bakery Clerk in our Port Washington store. Our Bakery Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bakery Clerks should be friendly, greet and be courteous to customers and work with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service. Responsibilities Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance Select items, box, bag and label each item after weighing for accuracy - label to be placed on each bagged or boxed item Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with our company policy Keep floors clean and clear of debris and spills Ensure that all department equipment is clean and working properly Rotate products to ensure freshness and ensure accurate signage for the department Prepare bakery trays for each order to exceed our customers expectations Other duties and functions as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language A great customer service attitude is required with the interest in working with our gourmet baked goods We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 50% off on lunch, 25% store discount and more!
