Discover your exciting roleThe Lead VDC Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing the development of a Building Information Model (BIM) for large scale multi-disciplinary projects/campuses. As the primary point of contact for VDC on the project campus, the Lead VDC Coordinator interfaces with the entire team to ensure alignment to the BIM Execution Plan. The Lead VDC Coordinator provides the project team with necessary model collaboration, automation, and management support. The Lead VDC Coordinator manages additional project resources such as VDC Coordinators, Technicians and Technology Leads.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesCreates, maintains, and manages the BIM Execution Plan in collaboration with the Design Manager and Discipline ManagersCapable of leading small to medium scale projects or critical portions of a large-scale projectOversees multiple weekly BIM Coordination and Clash Detection meetingsPoint of Contact for all CADD and BIM request from internal and external clientsPerforms Quality Control review on drafting standards for all published sheet files included as deliverablesProvide project level training to engineers and designers as neededCreates, maintains, and Manages the Project Navisworks Federated Models for Clash Detection, Viewpoint Management, and Search Sets. Develops and applies clash report template, including clash batchesInitiates and maintains the Design and Construction Platform (ACC/BIM 360)Maintains Project Requirement Instructions for project deliverablesManages model exchange between all parties within the company’s governance on the projectEnsures alignment to the project BIM Execution Plan by the design and construction teamsEnsures any changes in building orientation and coordinates are captured with all internal and external project parties, regardless of authoring softwareProvided direction to other VDC staffOther duties as assigned.Show your expertiseMinimum RequiredEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Design; or 4 years equivalent VDC experience10+ years of experience as VDC Coordinator at an AEC/Engineering consulting firm or a Construction Management firm working on large scale projects while overseeing other VDC Staff5+ years in both Design and Construction VDC Coordination is a mustData Center Project Experience a plusAdvanced user of AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit and Navisworks Manage softwareAbility to guide multi-disciplinary teams in the pursuits of solutions while encouraging creativity, innovation, and continuous improvementExceptional presentation skills for internal and external customersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of the use of Laser Scan DataAbility to manage large scale Laser scanning programsPreferredSemiconductor Project Experience a plusBiopharmaceutical Project Experience a plusContact:You want to be part of the Exyte team?
