Quality Inspector I

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector I to join their team. As a Quality Inspector I, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and testing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector I

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $20.33

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift, 6:30PM - 6:30AM

What's the Job?

• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications

• Utilize microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to conduct inspections and measurements

• Complete 10-15 different inspection tasks to ensure product quality and compliance

• Support documentation processes including archiving and electronic scanning of inspection records

• Assist in non-conformance reporting and CAPA activities to uphold quality standards

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; AA or technical degree preferred

• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication

• Effective written and oral communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand instructions

• Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is a plus

• Ability to perform inspection tasks with manual dexterity and attention to detail
