Home Health Care Aide

Home Health AidWe are looking for a Home Health Aid to join our team to work with one veteran for potentially 10 to 40 hours/week, depending on the client, in the St Augustine, FL area. You will directly work with the veteran, following a one-on-one care plan in the veteran's home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building a genuine relationship with the veteran. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the patient's needs.Responsibilities:Assist with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobilesChange bed linens, do laundry, light housekeeping, or assist with personal care if neededMaintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisorBuild a relationship with the veteran by engaging them in conversationProvide medication reminders, conduct blood pressure and/or sugar level checks, and assist with meal prep, if neededQualifications:Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening through ACHA (Provided by company during onboarding if hired for the job.)Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program (CNA or HHA)High School Diploma or GEDOne-year prior professional experienceDriver's license requiredCPR/First Aide certification requiredCNA Preferred, but not requiredHIV/AIDS Training Certification Preferred, but not requiredProof of a negative TB test/health screeningCompensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
