Senior Contract Analyst

Job Title: Commercial Strategy & Development Manager (Contract Analyst) Location: Washington DC (Hybrid – Some Days onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract (with potential to extension) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Strategy & Development Manager – Joint Projects to support the planning, negotiation, and management of strategic partnerships and commercial agreements for large-scale capital and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for developing and negotiating complex contracts, managing relationships with public and private partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in contract negotiation, stakeholder management, commercial strategy, and capital project execution, with experience working in transportation, engineering, construction, or other infrastructure-related industries. Key Responsibilities Develop, draft, negotiate, and administer project development, funding, design, construction, and other commercial agreements. Lead contract negotiations and amendments with public agencies, private organizations, consultants, and project partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and key stakeholders. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Risk Management, and other internal departments throughout the contract lifecycle. Ensure contracts comply with legal, financial, procurement, and corporate policies. Coordinate activities with project partners to support successful delivery of capital and infrastructure projects. Resolve contractual issues through effective negotiation, collaboration, and consensus building. Support strategic planning initiatives, operating and capital budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor contract performance and assist in achieving project objectives and financial targets. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, Engineering, Transportation, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial strategy, contract management, project management, business development, or a related field. Demonstrated experience negotiating and administering complex commercial or government contracts. Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple business units. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership and external partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications 9+ years of relevant professional experience. Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred. Experience supporting transportation, rail, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or capital projects. Experience working with federal, state, or local government agencies. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement practices. Experience negotiating architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) contracts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
