Registered Nurse Day Surgery
Rio Grande Regional Hospital
Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for our Day Surgery unit. The RN will provide pre-op and post-op nursing care, monitor patient status, administer medications, and support safe, efficient same-day surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV starts, education, discharge planning, and coordination with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary teams. The ideal candidate brings strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practice, and collaborative, patient-centered care in a fast-paced perioperative setting.
