Who We Are

Concert Health is a mission-driven behavioral health medical group delivering evidence-based Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) services in primary care. Our Concert Care Psychiatry program provides essential support for patients with complex adult ADHD diagnostic and short-term treatment needs, enabling primary care providers (PCPs) to confidently manage adult ADHD within the integrated care framework. The program emphasizes focused engagement, clinical stabilization, and a smooth transition of care back to the PCP.

This role was designed for psychiatrists who want to practice at the top of their license: taking the time to reach the right diagnosis, treating the whole patient rather than the most convenient symptom, and working alongside a team that gives them the context to do it well.

What Sets This Role Apart

Compensation independent of prescribing. Your pay is never tied to number of scripts, refills, or visit volume. You're supported for practicing sound medicine — including when that means concluding a patient doesn't have ADHD, prioritizing an underlying anxiety disorder first, or holding off on a stimulant until the picture is clearer.

A genuine care team, not a caseload. Every patient arrives with groundwork already done by a Behavioral Health Care Manager (BHCM), along with full visibility into the patient's primary care record and a direct line to their PCP. You start each visit with far more clinical context than most consultative psychiatry roles provide.

Built around diagnosis, not maintenance. The role centers on the highest-value clinical work — differential diagnosis, treatment planning, and getting patients started on the right path — rather than long-term refill management. If diagnostic work is what you find most rewarding, this position is structured around it.

A true integrated care model. This isn't a stand-alone telepsychiatry queue with a fixed visit clock. You're embedded in a coordinated care team — a BHCM handling intake and follow-up, a PCP you can consult directly, and a shared record available before every visit. That structure is what allows for the kind of careful, collaborative practice that a strong diagnosis requires. Rather than competing on volume-based compensation, we're built around sustainable, high-integrity clinical practice.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive adult ADHD evaluations, including structured interviews, validated rating scales (e.g., ASRS), and rigorous differential diagnosis
• Prescribe and manage stimulant and non-stimulant medications with full clinical latitude to address comorbid anxiety, mood, or other conditions first when appropriate
• Partner on an ongoing basis with a BHCM and the patient's PCP, rather than a one-time handoff
• Deliver short-term, measurement-based consultative care that stabilizes patients and supports a smooth transition back to primary care management
• Serve as a clinical resource for PCPs managing adult ADHD questions in their own patient panels

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in California
• Active DEA registration in California
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or AOBNP)
• 5+ years of post-residency clinical experience, with demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating adult ADHD
• Familiarity with measurement-based care tools and comorbidity screening (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7)
• Experience in integrated or team-based primary care settings is a strong plus
• A genuine commitment to diagnostic accuracy and patient-centered care

What We Offer

• Flexible, part-time schedule options
• Base salary range: $270,000–$340,000 (full-time equivalent; pro-rated based on schedule)
• Fully remote
• W-2 employment
