Forklift Operator
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a great opportunity with a growing warehouse operation? We are seeking skilled Forklift Drivers for a busy distribution warehouse in Hagerstown, MD. Candidates must have experience operating multiple types of powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overtime available and required as needed. Saturday work is required when business demands.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment throughout the warehouse
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Pick and replenish inventory accurately
- Transport materials to and from storage and production areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety concerns
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Desired Background/Skills:
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience required
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Experience working in distribution, logistics, or warehouse environments preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Candidates must have experience operating at least two (2) of the following types of equipment:
- Turret Truck
- Sit-Down Forklift
- Stand-Up Forklift
- Dock Stocker
- Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
- Double Jack
- Triple Jack
- Center Rider
- Reach Truck
- Cherry Picker / Order Picker
