Crane Operator
Location: Glendale, AZ
Pay Rate: $23-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Crane Operator / Material Handler (Scrap Recycling)
Madden Industrial Craftsmen , a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a Crane Operator / Material Handler position with a scrap recycling facility located in the Phoenix area. This role has the potential to become a long-term, full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate mobile and stationary shear cranes in a scrap recycling environment
- Safely operate CAT Material Handlers , Liebherr , and Sierra equipment
- Load, unload, sort, and move scrap materials efficiently and safely
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to support production goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of crane or heavy equipment operating experience preferred
- Experience operating material handlers or shear equipment in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation
- Ability to work long shifts and in outdoor conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
