12-hour day shifts, 6:45 am - 7:15 pm, with weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients experiencing complex needs and life-threatening conditions. This role requires proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and the administration of various titratable medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one nursing care in the acute recovery phase.
• Titrate medications as per patient needs, including but not limited to Dopamine, Levophed, and Insulin.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the transition of patients to the Medical ICU or Stepdown based on their recovery progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license with at least one to two years of critical care experience.
• Experience in CVICU, CRRT, Impella, and IABP is required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; TNCC preferred.
• Must have travel experience.
