- # Cashier/Host - IHOPApplylocations: Lake Ariel, PAtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR1453## **Job Description:**The Cashier/Host at IHOP will greet and seat guests promptly, cheerfully and courteously. Take guest remittance as required and make every effort to ensure the quality of the guest’s dining experience.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Develop and maintain professional functional working relations with IHOP Team Members and guests.* Greet guests as they enter the restaurant (within 30 seconds) and seat them as soon as a table is available. Rotate station seating to ensure the quality of guest service.* May handle guest complaints, inquire about dining experience, thank guests and invite them to return. Handle all cash in accurate and responsible manner.* Take register readings, make interim cash reports, and count cash registers receipts. Answer the telephone, take messages, and take and complete all To Go orders.* Maintain guest checks in numerical order. Maintain a waiting list as necessary.* Check restrooms every 30 minutes to ensure proper stock levels and cleanliness.* Clear, clean and reset tables and clean chairs, booths and floors after guests leave.* Comply with IHOP and Onvo uniform and appearance standards. .* Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner.* Maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Perform cleaning duties according to posted cleaning charts.* Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, guests, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk.* Complies with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions.* Perform other duties as assigned**Requirements*** Physically capable of standing for long hours.* Must be 16 years old**Pay:**$10 per hour**Disclaimer:**The list of Principal Duties, Essential Functions, and Basic Qualifications is illustrative but not exhaustive.
