Senior Commercial Analyst

Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 per year Work Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite About the Role Our client is seeking a Senior Commercial Financial Analyst to provide critical financial analysis and business insights supporting Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain . This role will focus on FP&A, pricing and profitability analysis, KPI development, and strategic decision support. The Senior Commercial Financial Analyst will partner closely with cross-functional leadership to translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations. The position will also support special projects and corporate finance initiatives for the company’s Belgian corporate team. Key Responsibilities Lead core FP&A activities , including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting. Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to analyze pricing, customer profitability, margins, and overall business performance. Support Operations and Supply Chain with financial analysis related to costs, inventory, production, and operational performance. Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting to track business performance and identify trends. Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improved profitability, cost management, and business performance. Support month-end close and financial reporting , including analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast. Prepare financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership and Board reporting . Develop financial models and ad hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions. Provide financial insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders. Assist with pricing and profitability initiatives , including product/customer-level analysis and margin evaluation. Support special projects and financial initiatives for the Belgian corporate finance team . Leverage large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential financial risks. Continuously improve reporting processes, financial models, and analytical tools. Required Qualifications 4+ years of FP&A experience with strong financial analysis and business partnering experience. Experience supporting Sales, Commercial Finance, or Revenue/Profitability functions . Experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting . Proven experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting . Experience preparing financial information and presentations for senior leadership and/or Board meetings . Advanced Excel skills / Excel super user — must be highly proficient with financial modeling, data analysis, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Exposure to full P&L ownership and analysis . Experience with pricing strategy, commercial finance, and profitability analysis. International or multinational corporate finance experience. Systems: NetSuite – financial close, reporting, and analysis. AS/400 – manufacturing and operational data. Microsoft Excel – heavy daily use; advanced proficiency required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
