Technical Project Manager

Technical Project ManageriSphere is looking for a Technical Project Manager who can keep highly technical teams moving without needing to be the "smartest" engineer in the room. If you're the person who brings structure to organized chaos, keeps projects on track, and somehow gets developers, architects, business users, and leadership all rowing in the same direction, we'd like to talk.This role supports a large-scale data engineering initiative that's helping drive AI adoption across the organization. You'll work with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business leaders to coordinate projects, remove roadblocks, manage priorities, and make sure deliverables don't get lost between planning and production.This isn't a "run meetings and update a spreadsheet" project management role. You'll need enough technical knowledge to understand cloud platforms, data pipelines, analytics, and AI initiatives so you can ask the right questions, anticipate risks, and keep projects moving.What they're really looking for:10+ years leading technical projects in data, analytics, cloud, or enterprise IT environmentsProven experience managing complex data engineering, data warehouse, or business intelligence initiativesStrong background managing project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and executive reportingExperience leading cross-functional teams, vendors, and technical stakeholdersWorking knowledge of SQL, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise data environmentsExperience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management toolsOutstanding communication skills with the ability to translate technical discussions into business languageCurrent PMP certification is required and must be listed on your resumeBonus points if you have experience with:AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiativesHealthcare data environments and standards such as FHIR, HL7, or CCDAAgile frameworks, SAFe, PMI-ACP, PgMP, or cloud certificationsData governance, enterprise architecture, or regulated industriesYou'll spend your time coordinating teams, tracking deliverables, facilitating discussions, managing risks, and making sure projects stay aligned with business goals.
