Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician I for a Distribution Center.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of warehouse equipment, machinery, rolling stock, and facility systems. This position will also assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the facility.

This is a safety-sensitive position and requires drug testing.

Essential Job Duties

• Inspect and assess equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Recommend and perform appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain and repair warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pick carousels, conveyors, and other machinery .
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general facility upkeep.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with repairs as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management.
• Provide functional guidance and work leadership to junior maintenance technicians when assigned.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial, warehouse, mechanical, or facility maintenance is preferred.
• Experience working with forklifts, conveyors, machinery, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds .
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on warehouse maintenance position requiring extensive walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and working around warehouse equipment.

The employee may be exposed to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise . Some duties may occasionally be performed outdoors, although the majority of work is performed indoors.

Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:45pm (until finish)

but willing to train in 2nd shift 2:00PM -10:45PM (until finish)
