Production Coordinator - Bayou Music Center

Job Summary Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Production Operations Coordinator to support venue and production teams through training, inventory management, budgeting, and interdepartmental coordination. This role will ensure a safe, cost‑effective, and efficient production environment. What This Role Will Do Ensure a positive and creative environment for the Production department and venue staff. Maintain department manuals and training materials for all production positions. Train, assist, and support production department personnel with job functions as needed. Adhere to the budget set by the GM and Production Manager. Create and maintain inventory and maintenance logs. Ensure all procedures are cost‑effective. Schedule venue runners with oversight from the Production Manager while managing labor costs within the assigned budget. Maintain regular communications with the Production Manager and the GM. Facilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organization. Manage stage, sound, and lighting crews. Coordinate hospitality details for shows/events along with the Production Manager. Ensure safe and consistent operation of all equipment. Attend production and operations meetings as outlined by the GM. Maintain accurate vendor records. Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks. Required Qualifications Calm, professional, and customer‑service oriented. Strong attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to make clear, concise decisions, sometimes with limited information. Computer literacy in Windows applications, especially Excel and Word. Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Tolerance to moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment. Preferred College degree. Work Conditions The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs. Work environment includes moderate to loud noise levels. Flexible hours may be required to support event schedules.
