Application Modernization Developer
Project: Application modernization on multiple projects.
Tasks include:
- MS Access database retirement and new requirements gathering.
- Rewrite communications portal with MySQL backend migrating to Oracle with SSO for Child Welfare area.
- Finance app modernization from Access to comp journal entries into treasury payments by end of fiscal year.
- Rewrite Classic ASP email notification system in.NET Core to be mobile friendly.
Tech stack:.NET Core 6, C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, Oracle, SQL Server, OnPrem, 3 tier architecture, SSO
Responsibilities:
- Agile environment
- Application modernization across multiple projects
- Migrate components over to new system
- Add new functionality
- Development and testing
- Work with another team for risk assessments
- Application security
Must have:
- C#.NET
- .NET Core
- REST
- Agile experience
- Ability to work independently
Nice to have:
- Design Patterns
This role is remote to start. Candidate will eventually need to be located in Lansing, MI to work on-site/hybrid.
