The company values dependable staff who contribute to smooth warehouse and logistics operations. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Shipping and Receiving Clerk role based in Newburgh, NY. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving incoming materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies. Daily tasks include preparing outgoing orders, packing and labeling products, building or wrapping pallets, and staging shipments for carrier pickup. The role involves operating pallet jacks and related material‑handling equipment, organizing storage areas, and maintaining accurate inventory records in coordination with the warehouse and office teams. The clerk will update logs, communicate shipment issues or delays, follow safety procedures, and help keep the shipping and receiving area clean and orderly. Qualifications Proficiency in core warehouse operations, including Shipping & Receiving and Packing tasks. Ability to safely operate material‑handling equipment, such as a pallet jack. Experience with inventory control, counting stock, and reconciling physical and system records. Strong communication skills for coordinating with colleagues, carriers, and supervisors. Attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Capability to lift, move, and stack products safely and stand for extended periods. Familiarity with shipping documentation, labels, and basic computer or warehouse systems is preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
