Role– QA Test Engineer Location – Downingtown, PA (Onsite) Job Type – C2C/W2 Need OPT-EAD Only Max. Rate – $42/Hr. on C2C Job Description Minimum 8+ years of experience. Test Planning and Coordination Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand the scope and requirements. Schedule and manage testing activities to align with project timelines. Test Execution Lead the execution of test cases, both manual and automated. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all functional and non-functional requirements. Monitor and report on test progress, including test execution status, defect status, and test metrics. Team Leadership Mentor and guide test engineers, providing technical support and training as needed. Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion of testing activities. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions. Defect Management Identify, document, and track defects using an issue tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects. Perform root cause analysis for critical defects and implement corrective actions. Quality Assurance Ensure that testing processes adhere to industry standards and best practices. Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes. Conduct post-mortem analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Essential Skills The Test Engineer will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
