Server Assistant

Located on Fountain Square, Via Vite offers a contemporary Italian dining experience that delights the senses and transports you to Italy. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality to join our team.A server assistant's primary role is to help servers and provide a good dining experience for guests. Their responsibilities include:Setting tables: Set tables with the right silverware, glassware, and dishesRefilling drinks: Refill drinks and clear empty glasses as neededClearing tables: Clear dirty dishes and glasses from tablesResetting tables: Prepare tables for the next guestsRunning food: Run food to tables in a timely mannerGreeting guest: Greet guests and provide them with menus as neededStocking supplies: Ensure supplies are stocked before, during, and after shiftCommunicating: Communicate effectively with the FOH and BOH to ensure timely serviceAssisting with special needs: Respond to any special needs and requests quickly, and relay them to the server or manager, if necessaryServer assistants should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate with individuals from different backgrounds, and possess organizational skills. They should also be able to adapt in a changing environment. They should also be able to lift 50+ lbs. and be on their feet for 4+ hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr Via Vite LLC
