Schedule: M-F, 8 to 5 Primary Duties
- Processing Accounts Payable (AP) , including entering invoices, verifying coding, and preparing payments.
- Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) , posting customer payments, and assisting with account reconciliations.
- Preparing and assisting with bank deposits and cash receipts.
- Researching and correcting accounting discrepancies and error corrections .
- Performing accurate data entry into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
- Reconciling records and maintaining organized financial files.
- Assisting the Controller with accounting reports, month-end activities, and other financial projects.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Previous accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the Controller and accounting team.
