Senior Paid Social Manager

B2B paid social at Sage is a pipeline channel, a measurable growth lever for reaching the right audiences, testing creative, improving lead quality, and influencing pipeline across North America.

We’re looking for a Senior Paid Social Manager to lead how Sage uses LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, and emerging paid social channels to reach B2B buyers across North America, improve lead quality, and influence pipeline.

This role sits within the Performance Media team and owns the strategy behind paid social, including audience planning, media planning, campaign briefs, creative testing, agency direction, campaign QA, optimization, and performance measurement. Sage has agency support for campaign build, trafficking, pacing, and in-platform execution, so your role is to guide the strategy, challenge recommendations, and make informed decisions that improve performance.

This is a strong fit for a B2B paid social marketer who understands how campaigns are structured, launched, tested, measured, and optimized, and who wants to experiment with AI, large language models, and platform automation to improve audience discovery, creative testing, campaign analysis, reporting, optimization, and return on investment.

Location Requirement: Hybrid 3 days per week from our Atlanta office (Ponce City Market) or Austin office (405 Colorado St.)

• Own Sage’s paid social strategy across North America, including LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, and emerging paid social platforms.

• Develop paid social channel plans, media plans, audience strategies, campaign briefs, creative testing roadmaps, and optimization plans that support lead generation, sales-qualified opportunities, pipeline, revenue, and return on investment.

• Brief and manage the agency partner responsible for campaign build, trafficking, pacing, in-platform execution, optimization support, and reporting.

• QA agency campaign setup, including campaign structure, targeting, creative, tracking, budget pacing, and alignment to campaign objectives.

• Review agency recommendations, audience performance, creative test results, budget allocation, pacing, and campaign performance to ensure paid social activity is aligned to business goals.

• Partner with Brand and Creative teams to develop and optimize paid social creative, messaging, formats, and content.

• Collaborate with Organic Social to create a more connected paid and organic social approach across priority campaigns, audiences, and moments.

• Work directly with agency partners and ad platform representatives, including LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, and other paid social channels, to inform audience strategy, creative testing, campaign structure, platform changes, and optimization opportunities.

• Use performance data to refine campaigns, identify opportunities, and improve marketing-qualified leads, sales-qualified opportunities, pipeline contribution, revenue impact, and return on investment.

• Experiment with AI, large language models, and platform automation to improve audience discovery, creative variation, campaign analysis, optimization recommendations, reporting, and campaign workflow efficiency.

• Stay current on paid social platform changes, audience behavior, creative best practices, measurement approaches, AI-enabled platform capabilities, and emerging paid social opportunities.

• Communicate performance insights, recommendations, risks, and decisions needed to internal stakeholders and agency partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in B2B paid social marketing within B2B SaaS/tech

• Required hands-on experience owning paid social strategy with LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit Ads, including audience strategy, campaign structure, creative testing, conversion tracking, optimization, pacing, and performance reporting.

• Experience testing new social platforms, formats, audiences, creative approaches, or campaign structures.

• Experience managing agency, vendors, platform partners, campaign budgets, timelines, and performance expectations.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect paid social performance to lead quality, sales-qualified opportunities, pipeline, revenue, and return on investment.

• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Organic Social, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, and sales teams.

• Experience using AI tools to improve marketing effectiveness, creative variation, testing, optimization, reporting, or workflow efficiency.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to own initiatives, make recommendations, and drive execution with minimal direction.
