Duties/Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, panels, outlets, lighting, and equipment in residential and commercial buildings for service calls, remodels, and new construction projects.
• Install conduits, pipes, raceways, and cable trays to house electrical wires and cables, ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local amendments, and company standards.

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding job details, expected arrival times (ETAs), progress updates, and any recommendations or additional work needed.
• Use the FieldEdge mobile app to update job status in real time (e.g., driving/en route, arrived on site, job started, in progress, completed) and reflect actual conditions as they occur.
• Document all jobs thoroughly in the FieldEdge mobile app with detailed notes, photos of work performed (before, during, and after), parts used, and any customer communications or issues encountered.
• Perform quality control on all work performed, ensuring installations meet or exceed code requirements, company standards, and customer expectations before leaving the site.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times; thoroughly clean up debris, packaging, and materials upon completion of work.
• Keep service vehicle/truck clean, organized, and well-maintained; manage inventory of common parts, tools, and materials; report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly.
• Proactively plan material needs for jobs and order materials from electrical suppliers in advance to minimize trips, reduce downtime, and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Coordinate material pickups or deliveries efficiently; maintain accurate truck inventory to avoid unnecessary supplier runs and support job efficiency.
• Strictly follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and electrical codes; use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); report hazards or incidents immediately.
• Assist with basic quotes or estimates for service work or small projects when requested, providing accurate information to the office team.
• Issue invoices to the customer using FieldEdge and collect payments on site.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test meters, diagnostic equipment, and conduit bending tools.
