Travel RN - Operating Room Magnet Hospital Shift Evenings, 4x10hrs Hours 40 hrs/wk Start Date Oct 5, 2026 Length 13 weeks Openings 1 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong orthopedic and total joint experience for a busy multi-specialty surgical unit. Details Work in the OR East unit, a 20-room operating suite Surgical population includes Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, Oncology), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, and Interventional Pulmonology cases 10-hour evening shift schedule, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, 40 hours per week First week of orientation is 5 days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Up to 4 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays Short call is 2 hours after a shift once a week Weekend call covered 7a-7p or 7p-7a once a month, with overnight weeknight call 7p-7a Requirements Active MA RN license required at time of consideration 1-3 years of related OR experience required Strong orthopedic and total joint replacement experience required Scrub experience required BILH coversheet required at time of consideration Flu vaccine documentation required, especially during flu season COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions allowed) Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties in a high-volume OR setting Experience in a teaching hospital setting preferred Specialty area expertise preferred Weekly orientation begins every Monday, barring holidays All RTO requests must be submitted for consideration at time of application Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning Parking costs may be up to $43 per day Pay Overview $3,339/wk Assignment Total (13 Weeks) $43,407 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks) $173,628 Weekly Breakdown Weekly Wages $1,400/wk Regular Hours $35.00 x 40 hours/wk = $1,400 Weekly Stipends $1,939/wk Lodging $209.00 x 7 days = $1,463 Meals & Incidentals $68.00 x 7 days = $476 $3,339/wk In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $3,005 - $3,339.
