• Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications, valid RN license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, proficiency in IV skills, telemetry monitoring, and documentation. Travel experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification is recommended but not mandatory.
• Responsibilities include patient monitoring, administering medications, documenting patient care, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit admits pediatric patients occasionally; nurses must have PALS if caring for pediatric patients, though it is not mandatory for all travelers on this unit. The patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights, with equipment including plum pumps, pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, and Phillips cardiac monitors.
