Line Cook
Location: Artesia, CA
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
About Us:
Honest Restaurant is a fast-growing, authentic vegetarian Indian restaurant known for fresh ingredients, teamwork, and consistency. We’re looking for a dependable Line Cook who takes pride in maintaining high standards in both food and kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to provided recipes and standards
- Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Set up and stock stations before service
- Ensure kitchen and prep areas remain clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Assist in inventory management and minimize food waste
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus (but not required — training provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
Flexible — weekends and evenings required
