As a Teller in PNC’s Retail Banking organization, you will be based at our Springfield, IL branch. Job Description Deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing, creating loyalty, and increasing share of wallet. Process a variety of customer interactions. Educate customers on available financial options and alternatives. Identify banking opportunities during the customer interaction and refer appropriate branch staff. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Leverage technology, tools, and resources to educate customers on managing financial transactions. Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems. Adhere to all policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Managing Risk – Assess and effectively manage all business risks to ensure compliance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Accuracy and attention to detail, address customer needs, banking products. Digital awareness, effective communication, fraud detection and prevention. Managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving. Understanding customer needs. Previous work experience at this level typically does not require a college or university degree, high school diploma, GED, or significant product knowledge. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Pay Transparency Base Salary: $15.38 – $21.15 per hour (may vary based on location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education).
