As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and emotional well-being to inform treatment planning.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific needs and preferences of clients.

Your work will primarily involve supporting a diverse clientele of adults and adolescents facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. The telehealth format allows you to reach clients who may face barriers to accessing traditional in-person services, ensuring they receive the mental health support they need, when they need it.

To be considered for this role, you must hold:

• A current and valid license to practice in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and effectively manage therapeutic relationships.

• A compassionate, empathetic approach combined with a non-judgmental attitude.

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities to efficiently manage a diverse caseload.

Experience in a private practice or telehealth setting is highly desirable, particularly familiarization with remote therapy platforms and electronic health record systems. Familiarity with different evidence-based therapies and special focus areas, such as trauma-informed care, is advantageous.
