Overview Gpac is working with a reputable drywall contractor who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendent to join their dynamic team. As a Commercial Drywall Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing drywall projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee all phases of drywall projects from start to finish; develop and implement project schedules to meet deadlines; coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all drywall installations; conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets industry regulations and company standards. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site teams, including drywall installers and subcontractors; provide guidance and training to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members; provide regular project updates and address any concerns promptly. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively; identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Safety Compliance: Enforce and adhere to safety regulations on all job sites; conduct safety meetings and ensure proper safety protocols are followed. Requirements Proven experience as a Drywall Superintendent in commercial construction. In-depth knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and finishes. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Proficient computer skills, including project management software. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent. Relevant certifications in construction management or related field. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred). Experience in metal framing, interiors/exteriors, insulation, carpentry (preferred).
