Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic educational setting near Los Angeles, California. This contract position is ideal for professionals motivated to collaborate with educators and families to enhance students’ learning experiences through applied behavior analysis.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans in school settings
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and data collection methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Previous work with children or adolescents preferred
- Ability to adapt to diverse educational environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop effective intervention plans
- Train and support teachers and school staff on behavior intervention strategies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform program adjustments
- Provide direct and consultative support for students with behavioral needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines
