Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures across multiple modalities as directed by orders.
- Properly position patients, apply shielding, and follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Document procedures accurately, label and store images correctly, and ensure compliance with data management standards.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and maintain patient comfort; coordinate with radiologists and other team members.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and uphold infection control and safety standards throughout the imaging process.
