Extrusion Winder Operator – 3rd Shift

Schedule: Thursday – Saturday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Shift: Overnight / 3rd Shift
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Extrusion Winder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion winding equipment to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent heavy lifting , standing, bending, and moving materials throughout the shift. Candidates must be comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts from Thursday through Saturday .

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion and winding equipment.
• Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products.
• Perform frequent heavy lifting as part of daily production duties.
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and product quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Complete production paperwork and accurately record production information.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to supervisors.
• Work effectively as part of a production team.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, machine operation, or extrusion experience preferred.
• Ability to work Thursday–Saturday, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM .
• Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly throughout the shift .
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent heavy lifting and moving of materials.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding production tasks throughout a 12-hour shift.
