Legal Assistant

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to a team of legal professionals within a corporate/business practice environment.
- Manage complex calendaring, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting logistics.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, handling communications and correspondence professionally.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, format, and redline legal and business documents.
- Support new matter intake processes, conflict checks, engagement documentation, and related administrative workflows.
- Process expense reports, invoices, reimbursements, time entry, and other billing-related activities.
- Assist with corporate transactions, deal support, closings, and document management as needed.
- Maintain electronic files, records, and document management systems.
- Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings, travel arrangements, and general administrative support activities.
- Support business development initiatives, professional licensing requirements, compliance tracking, and special projects.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience supporting attorneys or legal professionals within a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Strong experience managing complex calendars and supporting multiple professionals simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Experience with legal document management, expense management, CRM, travel, and virtual meeting platforms; ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-facing presence.
- Experience supporting corporate transactions, deals, or closings is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree, business certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
