Dayshift nurses

The Day Shift Nurse (RN/LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents in our assisted living community while promoting safety, dignity, and quality of life. This role is responsible for medication administration, resident assessments, coordination of care, and collaboration with caregivers and providers to ensure residents’ health needs are met during the day shift. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Resident Care Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state regulations Perform resident assessments, monitor health status, and report changes to the Director of Nursing or provider Respond promptly to resident needs, concerns, and medical issues Assist with care planning, updates, and interdisciplinary communication Clinical Oversight Provide guidance and support to caregivers/med techs as applicable Ensure proper documentation of medications, treatments, incidents, and nurse notes Monitor compliance with infection control, safety, and assisted living policies Communication & Coordination Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and pharmacy Participate in care conferences, shift reports, and team meetings Support admissions, re-admissions, and resident transitions as needed Regulatory Compliance Ensure care services align with state assisted living regulations and community standards Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain resident rights, confidentiality, and dignity at all times Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in good standing Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare preferred Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents as needed Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to respond to medical and emergency situations promptly Schedule Day shift hours Weekends and holidays as scheduled or required What We Offer Competitive pay Day shift schedule with work-life balance Supportive nursing leadership and team environment Training and growth opportunities How to Apply Apply online through Apploi or submit your application directly to the community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
