Job Title Certified Surgical Technologist Position Summary Perform scrubbing and assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring sterile setup, instrument counts, and post‑operative cleanup. Responsibilities Either 5 8‑hour shifts or 4 10‑hour shifts, starting at 6:30 am, with call hours. Check supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures; prepare scrubs, gowns, and gloves. Set up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning. Perform appropriate instrument counts with the circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed. Gown and glove the surgeon and assistants. Assist other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient.
