GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for product planning and tour operation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Product Planning (45%) Analyzes market conditions to develop new tour ideas and itineraries. Creates new tours in an employee's assigned city or destination. Observes, receives and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources to provide accurate information and advice to maximize cost savings and provide a high degree of customer service. Negotiates with clients and suppliers. Tour Operation (45%) Works and maintains open communication with Customer Service team. Makes tour operation arrangements daily to cater to customers' needs. Manages an itinerary using TOGO system. Manages and updates the tour costs in TOGO system. Client Management (10%) Identifies client’s needs and addresses them in an effective and timely manner. Manages client accounts and maintains a good relationship. Maintains strong relationship with clients and related parties. Other Duties Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes. Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors. Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace. Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solutions. Maintains good communication with your superiors, office staff members and outside contacts. Complies with all company policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: Possesses 0‑1 years of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills. Skills and Knowledge: Possesses sufficient knowledge and skills to perform day‑to‑day responsibilities. Requires minimum supervision. Speaks, reads, and writes Japanese.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working Hours: Normal business hours between 8:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; may be required to work after normal business hours and weekends. Work is performed in an air‑conditioned office environment. Work can be performed remotely but may require reporting to the Torrance office two times per month or as required.
