Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,879-$2,006 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts with rotating days/evenings/nights Start date: 09/07/2026 Setting: Skilled nursing facility Responsibilities Deliver general nursing care using the nursing process, directly or through delegated duties to supervised staff Assess patients, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes with patient and family involvement Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including fluid and respiratory therapies Monitor patient conditions, recognize symptoms, report changes, and initiate corrective actions as needed Coordinate shift activities, supervise staff, and ensure continuity of nursing services Provide patient teaching and discharge planning, addressing knowledge gaps for patients and families Apply infection control policies, maintain safety, and uphold confidentiality and professional standards Participate in orientation and ongoing education to maintain clinical competence Requirements Current registered nurse license in the state of South Dakota Current CPR certification Ability to obtain ACLS and PALS within six months of hire TNCC certification required for solo Emergency Room coverage within six months of hire Willingness to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and fulfill travel assignment requirements Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in emergencies Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 36 per week 13-week contract in a travel nursing role On-site nursing responsibilities in an ER-capable role within a SNF setting Supportive onboarding and ongoing clinical supervision Access to assignment-related coordination through the staffing organization Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
