Civil CAD Designer

Job Description: You will have the opportunity to perform a variety of design and drafting assignments and associated tasks to support the needs of Land Development, Civil Engineering Design, and Environmental Permitting projects. Responsibilities Perform design and drafting assignments to support Engineering or Geo-Environmental Groups. Demonstrate a strong client service attitude. Produce high-quality deliverables efficiently. Continuously learn new technical practices to earn confidence of clientele, management, colleagues, and regulators. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting and design (preferred; not required). 5‑10 years of site/civil engineering design experience with related AutoCAD/Civil3D experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D, including standard drafting techniques, terminology, and applications. Proficiency developing 3D surfaces, alignments, plan/profile drawings, road templates, and cut/fill quantities. Land Development and GIS experience preferred. Mining, energy, and oil & gas project experience a plus. Survey/field experience a plus (download/import survey points into CAD, prepare base mapping, export survey data to instruments). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid skills in planning, scheduling, organization, problem solving, and decision‑making.
