Food Service Worker

This person works under the supervision of a school food service manager and performs tasks in a school food service program. Basic responsibilities include preparation, serving, accountability and cleaning. Assigned to district building as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have a TB test with a negative test result. Must consent to a background check which includes being fingerprinted. Must have own transportation (i.e., must be able to make deposits to bank when assigned.) Previous experience in food service desirable. Employee must be neat in appearance, have a positive attitude and be willing to learn. Experience in working with, or positive desire to work with food service production, people and related paperwork. Substitutes may be scheduled in advance at times but are often called last minute to work.
