Position Summary The Junior Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions including Dale Carnegie and month-end journal entries and reconciliations for all Trust Accounts. The Junior Accountant reports to the Controller. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Schedule messenger pickup Oversee Dale Carnegie Review and Post Daily Cash Receipt Process and prepare Title IV Checks Post Trust Accounts in SAGE and QuickBooks for all deposits and drawdowns Post SLM deposits and withdrawals Reconcile Trust Accounts Monthly student statements Monthly campus audit visit Assist Controller/CFO with month-end closing Assist with other projects as needed Qualifications Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Possess excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Must be accurate and attentive to detail.
