Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health ("Bienvivir") is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly ("PACE"). PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible. BENEFITS for Full and Part-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week: We pay 100% of the MEDICAL monthly premiums for Employee Only coverage. We pay 100% of the DENTAL monthly premiums for Employee Only coverage. We provide an affordable VISION monthly premium for Employee + Family coverage. Bienvivir is currently accepting applications for the following position: LVN Treatment Nurse GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the LVN Treatment Nurse assists in the dailyoperation of the medical component of the Adult Day Care Center. The LVN Treatment Nurse’sduties include monitoring and maintaining skin integrity, health education of participants andfamilies, the provision of treatments as per the treatment plan and as ordered by the Physician'sdocumentation in the medical record. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide treatments as per physician orders. 2. Provide supplies to participants and caregivers for treatments done at home. 3. Motivate participants to maximize independence and maintain skill levels and encourage fullparticipation in centers program. 4. Document in participants' charts all treatments administered in center. 5. Assist Clinic Manager in the maintenance of adequate nursing supplies required fortreatments in the center, as well as those done at place of residence. 6. Provide patient care as appropriate and under the supervision of the Clinic Manager or thePhysician. 7. Participate in morning meetings as necessary. 8. Cross train to provide coverage for medication nurse as needed. 9. Attend monthly clinic meeting. 10. Maintain the wound care log and wound care checklist. 11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 1. A graduate of an accredited nursing program with a license to practice in the state of Texas as a Vocational Nurse. 2.
