Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) inpatient position in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing inpatient speech therapy services, including stroke evaluation and treatment, with a focus on swallowing and language procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 0 years of experience required. Candidates must have applicable licensure.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with weekends rotating. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience in a hospital setting; experience with inpatient speech therapy preferred.
• Additional Information: Position involves patient evaluation and treatment for stroke, swallowing, and language procedures. Use of AIDET communication and immediate service recovery is required. May float to acute hospital if rehab census is low, particularly on weekends. No specific certifications required but familiarity with hospital and inpatient rehab experience is preferred.
