Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License is required
- Experience in special education, particularly in mental health or behavioral programs, is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational abilities, particularly for case management and evaluations
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach students in a self-contained mental health/behavioral program following individualized education plans
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10-16 students
- Administer evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and write comprehensive reports as required
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with families, specialists, and staff
- Provide a structured, nurturing environment that supports emotional and behavioral growth
- Incorporate evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports
