Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire Teaching License is required
• Experience in special education, particularly in mental health or behavioral programs, is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational abilities, particularly for case management and evaluations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach students in a self-contained mental health/behavioral program following individualized education plans
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10-16 students
• Administer evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and write comprehensive reports as required
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with families, specialists, and staff
• Provide a structured, nurturing environment that supports emotional and behavioral growth
• Incorporate evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports
