Human Resources Assistant
$17 - $22 per hourPacer Group
Description: CONTRACT ROLE - Help support the overflow of the current workflow 3-6 months 8am - 5pm (may be flexible to 8:30-5:30) Pay Rate $17.00 - $22.00 (looking to stay around $20/hr) The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for various functions supporting the Human Resource department. You'll work closely with the site HR leader and cross-functional teams to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and comfortable balancing recruiting and administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities: Recruitment Duties • Review candidate profiles and conduct resume prescreens and use multiple interview techniques (phone, in-person, behavioral) • Partner with department managers to collect relevant position information • Work closely with managers to schedule and confirm interviews on their calendars • Keep candidates updated throughout the hiring process to maintain a strong candidate experience HR Duties • Schedule and coordinate pre-employment drug tests and background verification. • Support new-hire orientations if needed - i.e.: New hire paperwork, I9, etc. • Maintain records of recruiting activity in PeopleSoft and track search efforts • Organize resumes and candidate profiles within company databases Administrative Duties: • Sort, classify, and file hard copy documents such as invoices, reports, correspondence, and forms using a variety of systems (e.g., alphabetical, numerical, chronological) • Perform additional clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and monitoring office supply inventory for filing materials • Create new physical files, update existing records with new information, and remove or archive outdated materials according to company policy • Greet clients/candidates in a professional manner • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism • Maintain office equipment/supplies • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the entire office Qualifications: • 2+ years of HR Generalist or Recruiting experience - Manufacturing background a PLUS • HS Diploma - College degree preferred • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • PeopleSoft and Adobe Sign a PLUS • Punctual, courteous, reliable, and energetic • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment • Maintain a high level of confidentiality • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, both oral and written • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to work well with others and in a team environment • Organizational and time management skills Additional Details Education Required (Use effective 3/27/2020 : High School or equivalent Type of Position : Contract/Temp Shift : 1st FAA Drug Screen Required : No Vision Screening Required : No
