Primary Skills: Qualitative-Expert, Quantitative-Advanced, Google Suite-Proficient, Survey Design-Advanced, Data Analysis-Expert Contract: W2 Location: San Diego, CA (#LI-Hybrid) Duration: 6 months Pay Range: $45-50 Per Hour Job Summary We are seeking a Market Research Analyst with a keen interest in consumer behavior within consumer tax and finance, possessing strong capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding cross‑functional teams on consumer insights to shape product, marketing, and strategy decisions. This position involves managing multiple end‑to‑end consumer research studies, delivering actionable insights, and collaborating closely with various teams to drive our offerings forward. Job Responsibilities & Qualifications Work closely with cross‑functional teams to define research objectives and share findings. Conduct and manage in‑season mystery shopping, competitive experience analysis, and overall logistics. Develop comprehensive research learning plans aligned with business and team objectives. Create research materials like screeners, guides, and questionnaires to match target segments. Analyze research findings, compile detailed reports, and present implications to leadership and teams. Must have SkillsDeep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Proficiency in Google Suite and experience in survey/questionnaire design. Exceptional ability to synthesize data into compelling insights and communicate those to diverse audiences. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the consumer tax, finance, or a related field within start‑up, tech, or fintech spaces is highly preferred.
